Location: Oakland, CA Job Type: Full Time Earthjustice currently has an opening for a Development/Major Gifts Assistant. This position works under the supervision of the Vice President for Development and supports both the VP in her fundraising and management responsibilities as well as providing administrative support for the Major Gifts team. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work both collaboratively and independently and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The position requires excellent writing and analytical skills, and the ability to think creatively. The MG Assistant must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and be detail-oriented. This position performs a variety of administrative tasks, including travel arrangements and meeting logistics and scheduling, as well as some writing assignments including drafting correspondence and reports, etc. It requires frequent interaction with staff members within the organization; as well as board members and donors.
