Development & Engineering Professional

A leading hydroelectric and wind power developer is looking to hire a Director in its offices in Massachusetts. This person will be responsible for a fairly large team consisting of engineers and as such must have previous leadership experience as this is a senior role.

Responsibilities will include:

·         Assessing environmental impact

·         Assist the land acquisition team in securing permitting etc

·         Be a point of contact at a senior level for clients

·         Ensure that all projects are assessed within all of the relevant regulatory framework and make sure that all health & safety, technical and financial targets are adhered to

Applicants must:

·         Have at least 8 years experience as an engineer working on renewable power projects in North America

·         Have strong technical and environmental knowledge of wind power and hydroelectric power

·         Have graduated from a top university with an MSc in environmental engineering or a related discipline

·         Be a strong communicator, able to conceptualise quickly and problem solve from different perspectives

·         Be able to demonstrate their understanding of all of the relevant regulatory requirements, including recent changes
