Salary: £12,000 per year
51-week contract
We are a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing 80 nature
reserves, working to influence nature conservation across the 3 counties and
educating and encouraging everyone to care for local wildlife.
We have received lottery funding to provide 8 traineeships per year for people
who are committed to a career in nature conservation. Placements will vary, but
all traineeships will include practical conservation, people engagement and
leadership and management work-based training and delivery.
We are looking for self-motivated people who can demonstrate their commitment
to a career in nature conservation through their life-choices and experience. You
should be a good communicator, well-organised and have a flexible attitude. Our trainees should have the potential to lead others and be passionate about wildlife!
Our posts will be subject to a satisfactory CRB check at enhanced level.
