Hours: 35 hours per week

The RSPCA, the World’s largest and oldest animal welfare organisation requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Centre Manager at Block Fen, Animal Centre. 

This role involves:

• Supporting the Centre Manager by taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Animal Centre
• Managing the staff team and ensuring the welfare of animals at the centre
• Additional responsibilities include assisting with fundraising initiatives and public relations

The successful applicant should have:

•  Knowledge and experience of animal care
•  Proven line management or supervisory experience 
•  Sound administrative and organisational abilities 
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  An animal care qualification is desirable

For operational reasons this post is residential and shall require the successful candidate to reside on site.  Additionally the post requires weekend and public holiday work on a rota basis over 35-hour week.
