Climate-KIC is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) to drive innovation in the area of climate change adaptation and mitigation through integrated and creative partnerships between business, academic and public institutions. The Climate-KIC UK is one of five European Co-Location Centres (CLCs) and will provide the innovations, entrepreneurship, education and expert guidance needed to shape Europe's climate change agenda. 

This new role is to lead on the provision of operational support to Climate-KIC UK, to contribute to the strategic direction of Climate-KIC UK and to represent the UK Director as and when this is required.

The role supports the Director, Theme Leads, Education Lead, Entrepreneurship Lead and Partners within the UK co-location centre (CLC) in the development and delivery of the annual Business Plan to both the Climate-KIC and College, managing the CLC’s resources (research and innovation staff, infrastructural and financial), in coordinating and facilitating legal and contractual affairs at the CLC, in preparing consolidated annual reports of our activity, in managing the use of resources between the Grantham Institute, College and Climate-KIC UK and being in overall charge of the project management of UK CLC activities. They will work with Imperial College to manage the administrative relationship between Climate-KIC and Imperial College and to handle space planning for the CLC within the College. They will work with UK partners, external to the College, facilitating their work for Climate-KIC and managing relationships. The successful candidate will a good (first or 2:1) science degree or equivalent standard.
