The Science Center is responsible for leading and maintaining a vibrant science culture within the organization that is dedicated to excellence and policy relevance. The Deputy Director will work with Director to ensure sound and innovative scientific analyses in support of NRDC’s policy recommendations, will work with Director to increase the visibility of scientific principles behind environmental protection with the public. The position also involves serving as a spokesperson for NRDC on important environmental and conservation science issues at the national and international level.
