The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is a primarily Government Funded, non-profit company, promoting sustainable energy solutions to households, businesses and the road transport sector. We are one of the UK's leading organisations fighting to combat climate change.

The Energy Saving Trust in Scotland is delivering the Scottish Government¿s Energy Assistance Package, its new fuel poverty programme, from April 2009.

This role will involve assisting the Manager, Energy Assistance Package to deliver the Scottish Government¿s Energy Assistance Package, in particular by managing and reporting on the information exchange between EST and 3rd party service providers.

The main responsibilities will be to:

  • Act as the primary facilitator for collection of, transmission of and resolution of issues regarding client referral data between the ESSacs, EST, Energy Assistance Package service providers and the Scottish Government
  • Extract information from RightNow CRM system and other internal data systems
  • Maintain data quality in the CRM system, the data transmission files and reporting systems
  • Assist the EAP Reporting Assistant with reporting activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Good data management skills
  • Experience in using Excel and Access databases, including the development of management information reports using these
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience in encrypting email and data files
  • Experience in the scheduling and transmission of data between multiple systems
  • Experience with management, reconciliation and correction of data exceptions
  • Ability to prioritise tasks within a demanding environment
  • And be a team player who works co-operatively to deliver results,
  • And a self starter, able to work on your own initiative.

Key qualifications required:

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification in a relevant IT discipline.
