Data Analyst for Carbon Offset Markets, Washington, DC

The successful candidate(s) will be based in Washington, DC.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Assist in managing the content of our market-leading database of carbon offset projects in the United States and Canada
• Enter project data directly into our database, as well as ensure project information is kept up to date
• Handle client enquiries regarding specifics of the market
• Provide writing and research assistance to Point Carbon’s analysis reports

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Policy, Business Administration, or related field
• Internship experience in carbon markets, or related energy markets a bonus
• Strong academic records with demonstrated interest in clean energy and carbon markets
• Must be committed, reliable and professional
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Work independently with limited supervision as well as be part of a team
