CCMI’s education department is seeking an intern to join the team this fall in support of the onsite education programmes available at the Little Cayman Research Centre.??

Dates: 2-month internship, starting on 17th October 2023?? 

Join CCMI’s education team and support our education programmes at the Little Cayman Research Centre. The successful applicants will assist the education team with the preparation and implementation of our primary and secondary school level marine ecology courses, a Caribbean Marine Ecology Camp and other education programmes as required.  

The applicant will need to be proficient in water, ideally with a PADI (or similar) Rescue Diver qualification. You must be passionate about the ocean, teaching students of all ages and creating a positive and engaging environment for guests to not only learn but have the best experience of their lives. This role is hands-on, you will learn a huge range of skills while living on a remote tropical island at a fully functioning marine research facility. You need to love new challenges, enjoy working with a team and most importantly, want to make a difference in terms of ocean literacy and educating the next generation.????
