Our client a globally recognised agribusiness that strives to only produce quality agricultural products is looking to fill the position of Field Technician for the areas of Addo, Rustenberg and Malelane Requirements: · BSc Agric or related degree majoring in Agronomy or related fields· Fluent in English and Afrikaans· Computer literate· Good knowledge of agricultural practices and seeds· Understanding of trial design and layout· Good sense of observation· Valid Drivers licence· Ability to be flexible and adaptable Roles:· Assist the Agronomy team in executing different activities· Ensure high quality of recorded data· Assist in recording data from other trials when necessaryTransport equipments and sample to and from trial sites (Addo, Rustenberg and Malelane)· Prepare sugar beet samples for shipments to the specific labs· Manage the processing of sugar beet samples during harvesting and ensure a continued cold chain If you feel that you suitably fit the above requirements then please forward a comprehensive CV with a covering letter to candicew@caenviro.co.za *Please note that this is a seasonal contract for 3 months at a time
