Description
AEE provides everything needed to design, install, upgrade and maintain renewable energy power systems. We sell solar, wind and micro-hydroelectric systems and equipment, including hard-to-find parts nobody else carries. We continually search the world over to bring our customers items and prices that no other distributor can match.
 
The Customer Service Associate is responsible to Provide customer service and problem resolution to existing clients via telephone and email, trouble-shoot and investigate customer service issues. Actively communicate with AEE’s dealer/partners, sales staff, purchasing, planning and distribution department regarding sales orders, order status, shipment tracking, and order fulfillment. Data entry of orders and quotes. Create and process RMA’s and credits. File claims with freight carriers and product manufacturers. 
 
Responsibilities/Activities
  • Coordinate and verify issues related to the sale of goods to customers. This may include intake and evaluation of complicated issues involving customers, vendors, and shipping companies.
  • Work with sales department and vendors to verify shipments of inventory from vendor/manufacturer to customers.
  • Communicate resolution of issues to Sales and Accounting departments.
  • Create credit & debit memos for returned merchandise and customer credits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or AA degree.
  • 2 years plus in sales/customer service related fields. Knowledge of the alternative energy industry and products is especially beneficial.
  • Applicant needs to have the ability to multi-task and be detail orientated with good organizational skills and love to work in a fast- paced environment.
  • Need to have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and be able to deal with multiple customers.
  • Strong computer and time management skills.
  • One-year Excel and inventory management software experience, Oracle a plus

  • Essential Physical Functions
  • Physical- typing on a keyboard, data entry, filing, may require lifting heavy boxes
  • Visual- reading and or research on a computer screen
  • Audio- inbound and outbound telephone calls.
  • Must be a self-starter and work with little or no supervision, this position requires continual analytical research methods, precise calculations and the ability to “think outside of the box”, as well being prepared for continual changes
