Salary Range:$40, 743 per annum Summary of Function:To assist with the monitoring and implementation of habitat creation and restoration projects. Working safely and operating equipment is a condition of employment. Example of Tasks:1. Assist with the implementation of habitat creation and restoration projects. 2. Assist with the collection, database management and interpretation of biophysical information including fisheries, water quality, sediment quality, habitat assessment, and benthic invertebrate inventories. 3. Operate and perform minor maintenance on general equipment, biological sampling equipment, small construction equipment, and boats. 4. Purchasing of relevant equipment and materials as needed. 5. Supervise the field activities and field training of seasonal staff. 6. Liaise with the general public and staff of other agencies as required. 7. Carry out other duties as assigned.
