The Credit Coordinator will report into the Manager of the Documentation team, in the Utility Administration Group. The position will primarily be responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on potential residential customers.  In this role, this individual will be the key point of contact for the Sales Consultants and will advise on the credit worthiness of customers in real time.  The position will also perform general administrative functions and documentation support.
Responsibilities
·         Completing credit checks on SolarCity’s potential customers in real time by staffing the credit desk during the required hours.  Turnaround time for each credit query must be less than 5 minutes.
·         Creating and maintaining secure data and files, both physical and electronic.
·         Liaise with and generate credit reports from external vendors, tracking all information obtained for each customer.
·         Interface with sales organization, providing updates and answering queries.
·         Office administration and support to the Utility Administration Group.
 
Requirements
·         1-3 years of related administrative or credit experience.
·         Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
·         Computer literate – knowledge of SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
·         Confidentiality- this position requires the handling of highly sensitive data, so this person must understand the importance of confidentiality
·         Ability to take initiative and be resourceful to resolve issues.
·         Have excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
·         Punctual, organized, mature, disciplined, and collaborative.
·         Ability to work  independently and seek assistance when necessary.
·         Knowledge of the Fair Credit and reporting Act (FCRA) is preferred.
·         Knowledge of FICO credit scoring preferred.
Additional Information
The Credit Department is staffed 7 days a week.  As such, the successful candidate must be prepared to work a full 40 hour week within these time windows.  There are three schedules, and the hours for each are as follows:
 
Schedule 1 – Sunday through Wednesday 6 am to 3 pm, and Thursday 8 am to 5 pm
Schedule 2 – Tuesday through Saturday 12 noon to 9 pm
Schedule 3 – Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6 am to 3 pm, and Sunday and Monday 12 noon to 9 pm
