Wyre Forest District Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join its Countryside management team. The post holder will be involved in the management of some of Worcestershire’s highest quality and largest areas of wetland, and heathland.

You will need knowledge and the physicals skills necessary to manage trees in a safe and ecologically sensitive way. The role will involve working with grazing animals, volunteers and the wider public to ensure the land is kept in a safe and in
ecologically good condition. 

Working hours are varied and the post holder may need to respond to out of hours emergencies and work occasionally on both weekends and evenings.

The interviews for this position with be held on Thursday 12th August 2021.

You may be required to provide a suitable vehicle in connection with the duties of this post.

This job includes duties that may require a substantial amount of physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis
