This is a unique opportunity where you will combine and use your technical and management skills. Leading a small technical team your focus will be on developing our wind business in Mexico and Central America. You will also be responsible for developing and running the office ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively.
The role will involve:
Developing both existing client relationships and new business
Assisting with commercial and marketing aspects of the team/Company
Tendering for project work to include: wind energy resource analysis, feasibility studies and writing technical reports
Taking management, planning, reporting and technical responsibility for project work
Leading and developing a team of skilled engineers
Running the office following GH practices whilst ensuring local protocols are adhered to
Skills requirements:
5 years experience of wind resource analysis
Previous experience of managing and supervising a team
Fluency in Spanish and English with the ability to understand, interpret and prepare technical reports
Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at any one time
Aptitude for analysing statistical data
Ideally, candidates will have knowledge of the wind energy business in Mexico.
You should also be self-motivated and enjoy taking on challenges and responsibilities. The position will involve some site work and travel to our offices in Spain and the UK.
Remuneration will be competitive and will depend upon experience and background.
