Description

Do you have experience of securing, developing and managing successful corporate partnerships? Do you have a passion for the important issues that WWF works on and an understanding of key issues in conservation and sustainability and the role business plays within these?

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive. Best known as the world's leading conservation body, we're also committed to safeguarding the natural world through tackling the global threat of climate change. And by helping to change the way we live, we'll ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF-UK is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager who will focus on new business development. This challenging and rewarding role will secure mutually beneficial corporate partnerships that translate into market advantage for the partner, and transformational change, communications and conservation benefit for WWF.

We are looking for a professional, with experience in corporate fundraising and/or business development, who possesses a sound understanding of the private sector and business practice. Your excellent negotiation and communication skills will enable you to meet, or exceed, your annual income target through a range of fundraising disciplines including technical partnerships, philanthropic support, cause-related marketing, sponsorship and employee engagement. You will be a confident and articulate presenter with strong project management and proposal writing skills. Among your key strengths will be a natural flair for developing and growing business relationships. This is a cross divisional role and will require strong communication and coordination skills with diverse groups of stakeholders.

A background or solid foundation in major environmental and conservation issues, while not requisite, would be a definite advantage to potential candidates.
