he Student Conservation Association (SCA), America’s #1 conservation service organization seeks a Corporate Partnership Events Specialist in our Marketing/Communications Department based in Charlestown, NH.  This role will assist in the planning and execution of high impact, hands-on conservation service events that engage our corporate partners and their employees. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage engagement event timelines and implementation schedules
  • Assist in executing partnership and event promotion through print and social media 
  • Support the maintenance of corporate partner profile pages on SCA web site
  • Coordinate development , procurement, and delivery of service event collateral material and signage
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of employee engagement event outcome reports as needed
  • Assist Communications Director with related corporate sponsorship fulfillment requirements
  • Writes news releases, media alerts and stories around corporate partnerships for SCA online and print newsletters
  • Assist in social media outreach highlighting SCA and corporate partnership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant marketing communications or event planning experience
  • Experience working with conservation-minded and/or environmentally responsible organizations
  • Must be thorough and attentive to detail; demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Willing to travel to service events as needed (30% travel)
  • Excellent team player who has a demonstrated ability to work with others
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and MVR that meets SCA standards required
  • Ability to meet SCA’s criminal background check standards
