The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Corporate Outreach Coordinator for its Farm Animal Protection section. The main responsibility of this position is to develop relationships with major food users and spearhead projects that will foster HSUS’ current corporate relationships in the food industry. Other duties include, but are not limited to: engage directly in corporate outreach initiatives; strategize for and conduct analysis regarding HSUS’ corporate outreach efforts and other farm animal welfare initiatives. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and some relative experience in corporate outreach preferred. Strong communication and negotiating skills a must. Candidate must have a passionate interest in animal protection issues and extensive knowledge of the organization’s policies and positions.
