Experience Required(Description) : Instrumentation Engineer – 3 to 6 Years Exp. - Perform technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Lead, related with design, verification, testing or study activities. - Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers. - Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company. - Prepare equipment quantity. - Define critical items ( Transmitter, Sensor, VFD drives, Control Valve, MOV, etc ) - Support lead to Man hour & cost estimation - Hands-on exposure to developing and programming and commissioning controls for process steam, water, refrigeration & air conditioning etc. - Working experience on protocols like Modbus, Bacnet, LON etc. - Must have worked on one or more of the building systems from vendors like Honeywell, Yakogoa, Richards Zeta etc. and integrated multi-vendor systems - Familiar with local and wide-area networking technologies - Must have working knowledge of TCP/IP. Familiarity with HTTP, XML, RPC, OPC is desirable
Roles & Responsiblities
:
 - Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements. - Coordinates subcontracted discipline engineering activities and controls Sub contracted discipline engineering documents. - Defines engineering requirements. - Prepares the technical documentation for Instrumentation requisitions and prepares, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluations. - Provides technical support to Project group. - Optimizes instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance. - Prepares specifications for instruments and for instrumentation installation. - Performs Instrumentation P&ID mechanization. - Prepares instrument data sheets. Knowledge of operating systems like Windows and Linux and familiarity with reporting tools is added advantage
