As Head of Contract Management you and your team will be working alongside the Project Mangers in our project teams. Together with your team you will be responsible for providing commercial leadership and support to the team. The Contract Manager shall professionally ensure liaison and agreement with the legal and financial functions in Vestas Offshore. Being a Contract Manager is a key position in the project organisation. We are looking for an inspiring manager to motivate and develop the department to the next level.

Department:

Operating as one of the 14 business units at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Vestas Offshore A/S focuses exclusively on selling, constructing and operating wind power plants at sea. With offices based in Denmark, the Netherlands, China, North America, Germany and the United Kingdom we are responsible for Vestas’ involvement of offshore wind power plants worldwide.

Responsibilities:
 
As Head of Contract Management you and your team will be working alongside the Project Mangers in our project teams. The Contract Manager shall professionally ensure liaison and agreement with the legal and financial functions in Vestas Offshore. The main areas of responsibilities cover:

• Project and scope delivery management ensures that the project and its scope is being delivered as agreed, to the required level of performance, budget and quality.
• Relationship management keeps the relationship between Vestas Offshore and the Customer open and constructive, aiming to resolve or ease tensions and identify challenges early.
• Contract administration handles the formal governance of the contract and changes to the contract documentation.
Qualifications:
 
The ideal candidate has a successful track record and experience with working in an international environment with large scale projects.

We expect;
• Relevant qualifications and experience from the Construction and/or Engineering industries combined with commercial and contractual skills is preferable 
• Management skills and ability to motivate and act as coach for the employees 
• Claims Management experience
• Contract administration
• Project scheduling and risk management
• Technical and Wind Turbine experience preferable
• Managing and developing successful relations with stakeholders
• Fluent in English
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office programs (including MS Project)
• Service minded, proactive, and flexible
