Our client is an environmental consultancy/contractor with a well-established presence in the UK and Europe. This exciting opportunity has recently arisen for an experienced Contaminated Land Project Coordinator to join the company in its new office based in Honiton. You will be required to coordinate site work set by senior staff (with a set budget) and assist in preparation of cost proposals. This will include supervising the investigation of potentially contaminated land and pollution incidents, for example oil spills at domestic properties and remediation of commercial sites. You will have previous work experience as an Environmental Scientist with responsibilities for Phase I & II site investigations, as well as sound knowledge of scientific equipment for monitoring purposes. You will also be required to have working knowledge of current regulations and guidance, drilling techniques and remediation strategies. A UK driving licence is essential.
