Lake Macquarie City Council is selecting people to form a new team to deliver globally equitable quadruple bottom line sustainability.  Opportunities exist at this significant, pivotal point in the sustainable management of Lake Macquarie’s waste, consumption impact, and water.  The city is uniquely placed in enjoying a wide range of potential management solutions owing to its location just 1.5 hrs north of Sydney and economies of scale afforded through being the 4th largest local government area in NSW.  The city’s location also provides excellent lifestyle benefits, with all the excitement and facilities of a capital city located in a beautiful and affordable environment of beaches, mountains and of course, the lake.

  

The Position:

 Salary:  $77k to $88k per annum.  

We need an experienced environmental professional to spearhead innovative water and consumption (including waste) management strategies, through technical and community empowerment programs.  The Consumption Impact and Water Coordinator will deliver quadruple bottom line outcomes, through leadership of a high performing team, and by developing and implementing strategies that integrate technical, financial, and political information.
