Ecofys has extensive experience in political consulting, energy efficiency and climate politics and delivers strategic consultancy. The international Policy Design and Evaluation unit supports public and private players in the development, analysis and evaluation of energy political instruments and strategies. Innovative and workable legislation is key to an effective and cost-effective advancement of energy efficiency.
As a Consultant RE/EE (Renewable Energies / Energy Efficiency) with a focus on renewable energy and / or energy efficiency policies, you will provide consultancy services to government bodies and organisations. Your main tasks will include the execution of consultancy and applied research projects for energy and climate policy topics. You will participate in proposal preparations for public and private tenders and continuously develop our business in the area of renewable energies.
Your profile
If you are enthusiastic about the job described above and you meet the following criteria, then we would be happy to meet you!
- Qualification and experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis, analysis and evaluation of policy framework and instruments and in political instruments of energy efficiency / renewable energies
- Good understanding of national and European policy making including the respective institutional structures and relevant players in this field
- Knowledge on related topics such as power markets is appreciated
- We expect you to be a good team player, implement and manage your projects autonomously, negotiate with customers and partners, acquire new projects, and be willing to travel.
- Master’s degree preferably on a subject related to energy policy
- At least three years of topic related professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of English and of at least one other language, preferably German or French
