This position sits within an award-winning and expanding Sustainability Consulting and Assurance company which is already working with some of the world’s major corporations satisfying their need for report assurance work.
This role is:
• To assist the Sustainability Consulting and Assurance team delivery plan with a focus on Sustainability Report Assurance. Experience in AA1000 AS and/or GRI, ISAE 3000 is required.
• To be involved in the delivery of Corporate Sustainability Consulting assignments, and any other company service offerings as relevant.
• To be responsible for delivering quality projects and growing existing clients, participating in innovation initiatives and coaching and training colleagues in these services.
• To provide advice, challenge and support to clients in determining optimal approaches to achieve their business and sustainability objectives – with relevance dependent on the given engagement e.g. Report assurance, Corporate consulting, Equator Principles, etc.
• To apply experience and expertise in business management, organisational awareness, people engagement skills, communication, team working and flexibility to effectively deliver the above support to clients.
• To identify and follow up business opportunities with existing and new clients in liaison with Partners, managing and contributing to proposals and undertaking meetings with clients. 
• To manage projects in accordance with the requirements of the company project management system, including work-planning, team briefing, budgeting and progress, project and financial monitoring in order to ensure that all projects are delivered to budget, and ensuring that project utilisation is met or exceeded.
• For the Senior Consultant role, to support the management and development of the team – managing and supervising activities, line managing consultants, and providing coaching and guidance to less experienced members of the team.
• Some overseas and national travel will be expected as part of the role.
