Revision of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) Terms of Reference for engaging Consultant (One) and Project Associates (Two) The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) has been assigned the responsibility by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) and the National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) to undertake revision of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP). The National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) preparation is an obligation on all countries that are a signatory to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). The NBSAP is a macro-level statement of existing policies and programmes, gaps, and further actions needed for conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. India prepared the National Biodiversity Action Plan (NBAP) in 2008-09.
