Consultant (Forestry and Biodiversity)

Required Qualifications

The candidate should have graduate and post graduate degree in forestry or equivalent science degree and should have fair knowledge of GIS, biodiversity assessment, scince of forestry including forest growth, protection and management, forest products, species identification and forest ecology.  Good communication skill and computer knowledge is must. 

Job responsibility

He/she would serve as a technical consultant directly responsible for liaisoning with clients, develop project proposals, prepare project financial budget, develop concept note, generate and analyse forest maps (GIS) as part of forest management activities.

He/she would have to survey and estimate forest land and should be able to conduct technical forestry and bio diversity studies and prepare subsequent technical reports, maintain records.
