The forest team within IIED's Natural Resources Group is seeking a short-term consultant to lead the mid-term review of a REDD+ project implemented at subnational level in the central part of Mozambique. The assignment is to be undertaken between February and April 2015, covering the provinces of Manica, Sofala and Zambézia. The evaluation team will comprise two people: one team leader recruited internationally and a local consultant. The evaluation team will be expected to have:
The ability to communicate in Portuguese and English is required for at least one of the two consultants, while a knowledge of Mozambique environmental and natural resources context is desirable but not required.
