Conservation Youth Worker Contract: Full time, three years Based in Peterborough Salary: £18-20,000 Closing date: 27th November 2011
The award-winning Green Pathways Scheme is a BBC Children in Need funded project based in Peterborough.
The Conservation Youth Worker will be expected to take a lead role in delivering the Trust’s work with young people post referral from the Youth Offending Service, schools and other agencies (aged 12-19).
The role includes promoting conservation activities and the provision of a training scheme utilising the Trust’s existing educational, training and habitat resources.
The successful candidate will have at least two years previous work experience, preferably in a similar line of work. The post will be line managed by the Deputy Chief Executive and will be supported by the Education Team.
The position requires a full UK driving license and the completion of a CRB check.
