Description

BirdLife Australia is seeking an experienced person for the position of Conservation Team & OH&S Coordinator based in the BirdLife Australia National Office in Melbourne.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to support the Head of Conservation and Program Leaders with key administrative functions, including project management, planning, budgets and reporting to deliver on BirdLife Australia’s implementation of its Bird Conservation Strategy. The role will also work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure the organisation meets its Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, have a ‘can do’ approach, demonstrated experience in project management and knowledge of and ability to interpret OH&S legislation, policies and procedures.

Terms & conditions

Remuneration circa $72k including superannuation
 
This is a full-time position and the incumbent will be appointed on a 12 month fixed term contract with a three (3) month probation period. A continuation of the contract and scope of the role will be considered subject to available funding.
