Position Summary

BGCI is seeking to appoint an individual to implement BGCI’s Conservation Services including Grants, Appeals and Awards Programme and Accreditation, coordinate communications with applicants and members, and provide conservation services for members and the conservation community.

Candidates for this post will have a proven track record working for a conservation or scientific organisation, preferably in plant conservation. The post holder will demonstrate sensitivity to complex, multicultural and multinational institutions. Candidates must be able to show their capacity to innovate and to implement change. They must also be able to inspire BGCI’s members around the world, and have competent IT skills, managing a CRM database and communications.

To implement and grow BGCI’s Conservation service including the grants and awards programme and botanic garden accreditation.

3-Year Fixed term

Location:

BGCI Offices, Kew, London (hybrid working considered)

Remuneration:

£25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on level of qualifications)
