Summary of Position:
The Conservation Science Technician is responsible for collecting and managing field data on 1)
demography and habitat requirements of the endangered Karner blue butterfly, 2) population and
community ecology of regionally declining shrubland birds, 3) restoration assessments for globally rare
inland pine barrens vegetation communities. The position will be 80-90% field work and 10-20% indoors.
