Description

The John Muir Trust is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Conservation Ranger (2.5 days per week) for its newest property, Glenlude, in the Scottish Borders. The successful candidate will co-ordinate volunteers and contractors to help deliver the  management plan for the property though woodland work, habitat monitoring, deer management and education programmes. 

Applicants must a proven commitment to the conservation of wild places and wildlife; knowledge of health & safety for outdoor activities and experience of working with and supervising volunteers and/or other staff.

Job description: Conservation Ranger (Glenlude)

Salary:                         circa £21,000 - £23,000 (pro rata)

Location:                     Scottish Borders (home-based) reporting to Pitlochry office
