ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Conservation Information Manager I provides technical assistance to Conservancy staff. This may include one or more of the following functions:

  • Provides technical hardware and software support
  • Working knowledge of ArcGis 9.3/10/10.1 and Erdas software
  • Develops methods for mapping and classifying land use cover and data management using radar or optical imagery; includes developing and maintaining all documentation for data and data management
  • Trains staff
  • Maintains and populates data and records databases and manual files
  • Produces maps and/or other graphic products and reports
  • Develops and maintains GIS library and/or database products library
