Trees for Life is an award winning conservation charity based in the Highlands of Scotland.

Every year we recruit hundreds of volunteers to join us on our Conservation Holidays.  Groups of up to 10 volunteers and 2 leaders spend a week (Saturday to Saturday) living and working together, carrying out vital forest conservation work.  This work can include - tree planting, removing non native plants, removing non-native fencing,  seed collection, nursery work and more, all based in our 900 square mile target area in the north west Highlands.

As a small charity, we ask for a minimum donation of £80 from volunteers to help cover some of our costs.  All food, accommodation, tools and transport from Inverness are included in this price.

Volunteers from Scotland and London can apply for a Wave of Friendship grant of up to £500 to help cover their costs. See their website for more details - http://www.peoplemakingwaves.org.uk/pages/VolunteerBursaries

No experience is necessary, but volunteers must be 18+ years old, and have a reasonable level of fitness.
