Description

This project is seeking a qualified individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of a wildlife centre. The coordinators overall mission would be to support the ongoing education, research, and conservation initiatives of a research team and act as an representative and ambassador, while assuming a lead role in sustaining/supporting efforts and management of the field station. The coordinator will gain practical experience in operations, logistics, and on-the-ground planning for a multi-faceted conservation program. Start date is flexible, but preferably as soon as possible (application deadline: 30 March, 2013 or until the position fills).

The project will provide the following: board and lodging at field station; use of vehicle; cell phone; free satellite internet access; a monthly stipend of £70; and reimbursement of airfare (up to £1350) upon successful completion of assignment.
