The Conservation Coordinator (CC) works in the Northwest Indiana office and provides administrative, project management and other general assistance to program staff working toward the achievement of protection, conservation and stewardship goals. The CC will maintain office computers and filing systems, assist in preparation of grant proposals and reports and track grant progress, prepare and administer contracts, and assist in preparing and tracking budgets. The CC will also manage communications, outreach and marketing for the Northwest Indiana Region; duties may include assembling and synthesizing various types of conservation information, updating web content, developing outreach programs, and working with partner organizations to highlight the success of conservation efforts in NWIN. The CC is supervised by the NWIN Region Director and communicates regularly with INOU staff, MRO legal staff, grants service network specialists, MRC staff, and partner offices. The CC supervises no staff but will assist volunteers and project office interns.
