Our client is an integrated waste management company. It has evolved with modern day needs and offers an excellent range of recycling facilities. A requirement has now arisen for a Compost Centre Supervisor to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the composting operation and team in line with legal and company requirements. This will include compliance with ABPR regulations 2005 and EA Site Waste Management License, as well as conducting sampling in relation to PAS100 accreditation ABPR regulations and compliance with the Compost Quality Protocol. Health and safety will also be a key responsibility along with maintenance of the computer system and batch records. This role requires you to be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline, or have experience working in a waste related position (including recycling Plant and equipment). An in depth knowledge of composting Animal-by-Products and associated regulations together with an understanding of agricultural business is essential. You will have your COTC (4COMP) or be willing to study towards it. In addition, the ability to compile reports, analyse data/trends and correspond with relevant parties is required, as well as strong people management skills.
