Community Project Officer

At Groundwork London, we work to empower, enable and enhance communities. Our community engagement activities aim to improve social cohesion, engage communities in local decision making, and facilitate social action to improve people’s lives and engender civic pride.

Groundwork London are seeking a Community Project Officer to join our London team in delivering a wide range of projects focused on participatory decision making, behaviour change and environmental improvements. You will shape and facilitate community/ stakeholder engagement activities, plan and deliver workshops and events, empower local decision making and work alongside Landscape Architects to turn community-led ideas into on-the-ground green space improvements.

The successful candidate will require excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills for effectively engaging communities, stakeholders and partners from the statutory, voluntary and private sectors. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a confident and effective project manager, be flexible, client focused and have a positive, can do attitude.

We are looking for a creative, yet pragmatic team player who is committed to collaboratively working with others to achieve excellence in service delivery.
