Do you want to join the Cotswolds Conservation Board team to help restore internationally important wildflower rich grasslands in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?

We are seeking a confident, dynamic and committed team player to deliver the Cotswold’s element of the Save Our Magnificent Meadows project. This is a high profile UK-wide project co-ordinated through Plantlife, taking emergency action to conserve the remaining species-rich meadows and grasslands and engage the public about their value and interest.

The Cotswold element of the project focuses on the limestone grasslands of the Cotswolds escarpment and valleys. Working closely with local partners and the landowning/managing community the post-holder will champion wildflower grassland restoration across the area.

You will be working closely with local partners and communities to secure public involvement with wildflower grasslands by recruiting and developing project volunteers, delivering a range of grassland events, walks, talks and practical conservation tasks and leading on the outreach and engagement programme for local communities and community Grassland Champions. You will have experience of organising community events and conservation projects.

Closing date: Monday 4th January 2016, 10am
Interview date: Thursday 14th January 2016
