Community Engagement ManagerCoillte Enterprise division have an exciting opportunity for a Community Engagement Manager to manage the development and implementation of Community Engagement Strategy and policy, to enhance Social Acceptance across Coillte’s portfolio of wind energy development projects in accordance with Coillte’s core values and international best practice. The ideal candidate will have a track record as a practitioner of public consultation and community engagement in large scale multi-stakeholder project delivery environment, preferable energy related. The role involves responsibility for leading Coillte’s strategy for enhanced social acceptance in wind energy and ongoing development of creative new approaches to social acceptance & community engagement in line with emerging best practice and local community expectations. They will oversee the community engagement planning and implementation process and will act as a representative for Coillte Wind Energy on community engagement issues at key stakeholder interfaces. They will bring leadership and excellence to community engagement and social acceptance initiatives and will capture social acceptance value on behalf of both Coillte and communities in the context of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with an aptitude for proactive engagement strategies. They will have excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills and hold a degree in Social Science or related discipline. Wicklow or by agreement and is a fixed term 3 year contract. The salary on offer for this position will be €55,000 - €70,000 depending on experience plus Benefits Package.
