CBFS seeks an enthusiastic leader to fill this brand new position to manage the SPARK program, coordinate community events, and work with our other education programs. SPARK (Shore People Advancing Readiness for Knowledge) is a completely free program for families in Accomack County to learn and grow together through outdoor experiences. This position will devote 20 hours a week to the SPARK program and community events. An additional 20 hours per week will be spent working with the other program departments at CBFS. The Community Education Specialist will be trained to work with all programs (school, college, family and adult, and summer camp programs) and will work with learners of all levels, including K-12 students, college students, and adult learners.
