Forum for the Future is looking for an organised and enthusiastic person to work as an intern in our small but busy communications department. Ideally, the candidate will have some experience in internal or external communications activities, journalism, publishing and/or PR and be able to demonstrate an interest in sustainable development issues. The communications team at the Forum ensures the consistency and quality of all content that the organisation produces. This includes the editing and production of reports and the maintenance and development of our online presence. It is also the responsibility of the communications team to raise the profile of the Forum and disseminate its work through the media and other networks such as the academic and environmental communities. Communications are integral to the work of Forum for the Future and the successful candidate will benefit from exposure to a variety of the organisation’s projects and activities. Our audience is an international group of opinion formers and leaders in business and the public sector. Lunch expenses up to £5 a day can be claimed back and travel costs from within London will also be covered. A commitment of three to four days a week for three months (late April to late July) is required.
