Communications Officer

As part of its new strategic plan, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust is looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for our work to take on the fixed term, part time position of Communications Officer.

You will be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a marketing, PR and/or social media role. You will have good attention to detail and organisational skills, allowing you to effectively prioritise your time to maximise the impact of BBCT’s communications activities.

It would be highly advantageous if you have experience of working for a national UK charity and therefore an understanding of local and national media outlets. An interest in conservation and environmental current affairs would be highly desirable.

This is a part-time (21 hrs per week), fixed term (1 year) position based at BBCT’s Registered Office in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
