The Marine Environmental Research Institute (MERI) is seeking a highly organized, experienced individual with excellent communications and visual skills to fill the position of Senior Communications Associate at the MERI Center for Marine Studies in Blue Hill, Maine.The Senior Communications Associate will serve as the media point person for MERI and be responsible for developing media messages and outreach strategies for ocean and toxics related issues. The Senior Communications Associate will write all press materials including press releases, news advisories, pitch letters, talking points, letters to the editor, op-eds, and web site text.
