Salary from £13,874 plus contributory pension

Full-time or job share, 35 hours per week – flexible working

One year contract

Based Altrincham, Greater Manchester.

The Communications Assistant offers essential support to the Vegetarian Society’s press, events and general communications work, including National Vegetarian Week, the Vegetarian Magazine and a range of other campaigns.  It is a busy and varied role but also includes routine tasks that have to be done well every time by somebody who enjoys getting the details right. 

The Vegetarian Society is a positive employer. We operate a 35-hour week, flexible working hours and a stakeholder pension. Our headquarters, Parkdale, are in a converted mansion house surrounded by private gardens, five minutes from the M56. We enjoy a great sense of common purpose.
