Passionate about working on solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental issues? Here's an opportunity for a strategic thinker with many years of experience as a professional communicator and team leader to bring your expertise to an organisation at the forefront of the movement addressing the global climate emergency, ending whaling, saving our oceans and forests, and promoting regulation to ensure GE free food.
Get involved in Australia’s leading environmental campaigning organisation and lead the development and implementation of communications strategies across the organisation that will deliver successful campaign outcomes.
You will use your deep understanding and strong track record in communications and media to create and implement new operating procedures in relation to message development, audience analysis, message testing, evaluation of campaign media strategies and media training to increase the quality and effectiveness of Greenpeace campaigning.
Drawing on your at least five years’ experience in managing and motivating people you will mentor the communications and media relations officers, audio visual and copywriter staff and create a cohesive team who are dynamic, innovative and efficient. The ability to achieve results while working on several projects at once is essential.
As well as an opportunity to make a difference on crucial issues, Greenpeace offers employees a supportive work environment and a real commitment to life/work balance. We also encourage staff to develop new skills, take on challenges and get involved in the wider organisation.
