£22,350 to £25,647 (plus London Weighting of £3550)
This is a busy role providing support to a small and dynamic communications team, to help ensure that our messages reach target audiences. We’re looking for someone to support on a wide range of communications tasks including PR and marketing, research, administration and project management, and with particular focus on digital and social communications. We’re looking for someone with great personal communications skills, outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload with competing demands.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative individual with experience across a range of communications media. You should understand the values and mission of Forum for the Future, and have demonstrable relevant experience in:
- Website management and ideally, working on a site rebuild (experience of Drupal would be a bonus)
- Managing social media accounts (particularly Twitter & LinkedIn)
- Media relations – from project managing a campaign to achieving strong media coverage and reporting results
- Copy editing (including editing blogs, other web copy and other channels like e-newsletters)
- Communications project management, including publications
- Working with and managing projects with external agencies and freelancers (particularly media, design, digital, general communications)
- Strong aptitude for visual design (experience of commissioning and working with film would be a bonus)
- Communicating sustainability issues
