Commercial Solar PV Sales Consultant, USA, New Jersey

My client is a leading provider of solar pv systems on the East Coast of the USA and are in a growth period. The client works on both commercial and residential projects and has installed over 600 solar energy systems. They specialise in turnkey energy solutions helping their customers lower their electric purchases from conventional generation. Aside from Solar electric they also focus on solar thermal projects.

A position has become available for a commercial Solar PV sales consultant based out of the East Coast of the USA to work on solar plants ranging in size.  Working as part of a very well respected team you will be expected to work autonomously on occasion and therefore will need to have previous experience of working as a solar PV sales consultant in the solar PV market.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the development of new business acquisition and strategy to drive sales
• Leverage relationships with installers, distributors, architects, engineers, financial partners, contractors, consultants, and service companies
• Explaining designs to clients where necessary
• Build brand recognition

Skills and qualifications needed:

• Background in Electrical Engineering. E.g. Bachelors degree would help
• Management and sales experience in electrical engineering solar PV context
• Passionate about the photovoltaic industry
• General knowledge of different types of solar PV modules
• The ability to work in the USA
