Description

The Coastal Projects Intern will contribute to applied coastal and marine research and restoration efforts, with a focus on shellfish restoration and shoreline stabilization projects.  The position will primarily involve supporting project implementation and development.  Other responsibilities will comprise a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, literature research, data entry, and communication with local residents.  The intern will be exposed to a range of opportunities during the course of the position duration.  These may include GIS analyses, learning about conservation of large landscapes, and gaining exposure to a global conservation organization.  The position will be based at The Nature Conservancy’s New Jersey Delaware Bayshores office, located in Delmont, New Jersey.
