The Coastal Invasives Coordinator manages field crews and partnership details for the Eastern Lake Michigan Invasives project, a multi-partner initiative to reduce targeted populations of terrestrial invasive plants in coastal natural communities.  Manage a remote seasonal field crew (40% of time) ; and coordinate and track partner organizations duties in related invasive species strategies executed under a joint grant managed by The Nature Conservancy (60% of time). 

Activities will include:
• Hire, train, and manage baby’s-breath field crew
• Coordinate baby’s-breath field work with federal, state, and local partners
• Conduct community outreach activities such as meeting with landowners and attending partner meetings
• Implement  preserve management plans
• Boundary postings and trail maintenance
• Lead field trips and volunteer work days
• Maintain preserve areas frequented by the visiting public
• Remove exotic species and/or monitor & research species
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Meet with partners to track progress towards invasive species goals and ensure goals are met
• Ensure accurate monitoring of project results
• Track project budget, outcomes, and outputs
• Assist development of long-term monitoring and strategies for coastal invasives
